Handmade in our Sligo workshop, these new designs mark a bold step forward for our brand while staying rooted in what defines us: Irish heritage, artistry, and timeless craftsmanship.
Why Lab-Grown Diamonds?
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds. They are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds, with the same brilliance, fire, and durability. The difference lies in their origin: instead of being mined from the earth, they are created in a laboratory under conditions that replicate the natural diamond-forming process.

The Ériu Story
The Ériu Collection is named after the ancient Irish goddess Ériu, who gave her name to Éire (Ireland). Ériu represents sovereignty, heritage, and connection to the land; themes that run through Martina Hamilton’s work.
Every Ériu design carries textures and lines inspired by Ireland’s rugged coastlines and mythic landscapes. With the addition of lab-grown diamonds, the collection now combines this sense of place and story with a modern, future-facing choice for engagement.
Handmade in Sligo
Each Ériu Engagement Ring is handmade to order by our team of master goldsmiths in our Sligo workshop. You can choose from a wide range of metals, including hallmarked sterling silver, 9ct, 14ct, or 18ct gold (in yellow, white, or rose), and platinum.
Every ring is hallmarked at Dublin Castle, a guarantee of quality and authenticity. The diamonds, whether lab-grown or natural, depending on your preference, are individually set by hand with the care and precision that define our workshop’s ethos.
Customisation & Bespoke Design
The Ériu Engagement Collection offers space for your story. While the new designs highlight lab-grown diamonds, customers can also request natural diamonds or other precious and semi-precious stones.
Rings can be tailored to your preferences, whether that’s choosing your metal, carat size, or adding bespoke design touches that complement an existing ring. Martina has worked on many commissions over the years, often adapting Ériu designs to make each one deeply personal.
