I've always loved those lines from Yeats' poem Adam's Curse. As a designer I was very struck by the imagery of lunar transits and distant moons, beamed back to us from far flung planets in our solar system. The simplicity of planetary movements, of gravity wells and eclipses began to link together in my mind with the natural textures of sea-polished oyster shells.
