Shell Collection

Handmade Irish designer jewellery collection created in hallmarked sterling silver and gold inspired by random broken shells gathered on the Sligo shore.

The shells I picked with my daughters one afternoon on a beach in North Sligo gave rise to this collection. I was struck by the connections the girls had with each other as they became engrossed in the joy of beach-combing, gathering hollowed out limpet and whelk shells to stack and wear like rings on their fingers.
