A petite flame of inspiration, a quiet statement of confident elegance and sophistication, our Bean Rí (She King) Medium Pendant is an understated but uniquely striking piece. The quarter turn in the flame shape gives depth and presence.
Bean Rí pendant is from the award winning collection in Sterling Silver and Gold by Martina Hamilton. Inspired by the mythological warrior queens of ancient Ireland and modeled on bronze age spear heads at the Irish National Museum, the collection was named best jewellery design by DCCOI at Showcase Ireland.

About the Bean Rí Collection
The National Museum of Ireland commissioned this collection to mark 1,000 years since the Battle of Clontarf, a defining event in Irish history. This jewellery was created to symbolise and celebrate the powerful yet mostly untold contribution of women to the history of Ireland. The Irish words "Bean Rí" translate to "Women King"; a celebration of elegance, and femininity, of passion and strength.
