The National Museum of Ireland commissioned me to create this collection of jewellery to mark 1000 years since the Battle of Clontarf, a defining event in Irish history.

About the Bean Rí Collection
The National Museum of Ireland commissioned this collection to mark 1,000 years since the Battle of Clontarf, a defining event in Irish history. This jewellery was created to symbolise and celebrate the powerful yet mostly untold contribution of women to the history of Ireland. The Irish words "Bean Rí" translate to "Women King"; a celebration of elegance, and femininity, of passion and strength.
