HALLMARKED STERLING SILVER DOUBLE CHARM PENDANT FROM THE CLOTHS OF HEAVEN COLLECTION BY MARTINA HAMILTON.
Double charm pendant of hallmarked sterling silver circles, threaded onto a lustrous sterling silver snake chain. The two silver circles are etched with lines reminiscent of astral symbols carved into ancient megalithic stones at sites such as Newgrange, Knowth, Dowth, and Loughcrew. The piece also carries contemporary reference in the timeless poem by W B Yeats "Aedh Wishes for The Cloths Of Heaven". The charms can be interchanged and worn individually. It is their independent threading that allows each circle to move into eclipse of the other, reminiscent of the earth, moon and planets in their timeless orbit around the sun.

About the Heaven Collection
This collection carries contemporary reference to the timeless love poem by W. B. Yeats "He wishes for The Cloths Of Heaven"; but it draws upon far more ancient Irish cultural references as well. The astral etchings are inspired by stone carvings found at Neolithic sites in Ireland, such as Newgrange, Knowth and Loughcrew, underscoring the timelessness of love.
